The founders

Alain and Liliana Meylan

An architect and an interior designer, they have run their practice from Geneva for thirty years, mostly on private houses and on buildings that had to be kept rather than replaced. They came to the Alpilles for one project and bought Le Mas de Chabran meaning to restore it and move on. They stayed. A second house followed, then a third, and the practice turned into an art of hospitality: the same drawings, the same masons, and now a household to run in each of them.
